Transylvania: Time to explore

Brasov is a beautiful city- it really is. There is so much to see and you can see so much just strolling down the streets. That’s my favourite part about going to a new place, immersing yourself in the streets and just wandering until you finally feel ready to stop. And that is exactly what we did- we just walked. I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting from Brasov, but I was pleasantly surprised. It even has its own little ‘Hollywood sign’ up in the mountains.

The buildings are just lovely, and we always felt safe there, even walking around at night which is always a good thing.

Wherever you looked there was the most beautiful buildings, we came across the cutest little cafe which we stopped by for a mid afternoon snack before heading to explore again. They had the most fantastic range of crepes I have ever seen.

La Republique is by far the best little cafe we came across whilst in Brasov. They also have English tea- just ask for Black tea with milk. With a wide range of snacks it will cater your every need.

The best one by far was the spinach and beschamel sauce crepe. Taste sensation.

If you are ever in Brasov be sure to check it out!
